Our Story
A community-built response to real need.
Founded on 13th August 2018 in Riverside, Kitwe by Golden Lukulula and a team of compassionate volunteers, Our Hope for Zambia grew out of a deep burden to walk alongside vulnerable children and families.
We receive no government or NGO funding. Every meal, every uniform, every outreach is made possible by our members, volunteers and the kindness of local community members who believe every child deserves a chance to thrive.

Feeding Program
Nutritious daily meals at our centre, nutrition workshops and kitchen gardens for sustainability.

Education & Skills
Literacy classes, vocational training in tailoring, carpentry, gardening and poultry, plus life skills.

Health & Sanitation
Hygiene campaigns, reproductive health workshops, clean-up drives and basic health training.

Substance Abuse Awareness
Peer education, counselling and rehabilitation support against drug and alcohol abuse.

Advocacy for child protection, gender-based violence prevention and community resilience.
